Our PTO is a big reason why CCHS is a great community! Over the weekend they hosted their largest fundraiser of the year, the Camel Crop, to help raise money for multiple scholarships, a new Humphrey mascot costume, and to continue supporting student and staff incentives. Thank you to the parents, students, and crafters that made the event a huge success! If you would like to be more involved, please follow Campbell County High School PTO on Facebook.

Project Destination promises students business practitioner experiences. Ms. Rider and her business management class started working on a project with Kroger. Keith Gollar, Digital Communications Strategist at Kroger, taught students how digital content emails are managed and organized behind the scenes. Students helped him develop a targeted email and we can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Our students had the opportunity to share their experiences with leaders from across Northern Kentucky at the NKY Leadership event today. They discussed how they are given opportunities K-12 to show their growth as communicators, collaborators, critical thinkers, resilient learners, and highly prepared graduates. Students also shared how the destination courses they have taken in middle and high school are preparing them for their future careers.

Thank you to NKY Leadership for hosting this event and for helping bridge the gap between schools and the workforce through this collaboration. Together we are preparing the next generation of leaders for Northern Kentucky.

We celebrated FFA across Kentucky and at CCHS. They enjoyed a week of fun with scavenger hunts, bowling, skiing, a pancake breakfast, and a teacher appreciation lunch for CCHS staff! If you are looking for a fish fry on Fridays, stop by the fairgrounds to help support our FFA. Our FFA Chapter is thriving and excelling thanks to the guidance of Mrs. Jones!

With the expansion of career destinations K-12, our accounting path is growing! Our accounting students in Mr. Middleton’s class are learning how to complete payroll with real-world scenarios, withholding allowances, and taxes. Through authentic, hands-on experiences, they’re building skills that directly connect to their post-secondary goals. After this course students will be taking dual credit classes in accounting and applying for internship positions. #KYpublicschoolsweek
