Family and Community Resources: Mental and Physical Health, Emotional Wellness, and Suicide Prevention

Ensuring the well-being of our students and community members is a top priority for Campbell County Schools. If you or someone you care about is experiencing thoughts of suicide, it is crucial to seek immediate assistance. Please reach out to a trusted adult, contact a counselor, or dial 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which provides 24/7 access to trained crisis counselors.

Below, we have compiled a selection of mental health and suicide prevention resources that have been found helpful by members of our community. These materials are provided for caregivers' personal exploration and are neither part of our district’s instructional content nor officially endorsed by Campbell County Schools. (If you have school specific needs, please reach out to your school's student support team. The student support team is made up of school counselors, family resource coordinators, school psychologists, and mental health therapists. This group is here to offer social, emotional, and resource support to our students and families.)

For district-specific or student-related support, we encourage you to contact our Student Support Team, who are dedicated to assisting our students’ mental and emotional health needs.

Note: The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline is a nationwide service offering free and confidential support to individuals in distress, prevention and crisis resources, and best practices for professionals.
