Superintendent's Message

CCS Community,

I extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you as we embark on the 2023-24 school year. It is with immense pride and gratitude that I continue to serve as superintendent of Campbell County Schools, and I am thrilled to welcome back our outstanding ALL-STAR staff and students!

As we enter this new academic year, I am filled with excitement about the endless possibilities that lie ahead for our students, faculty, staff, and community. Together, we will continue creating an environment that nurtures and empowers our students to thrive in their educational journey and beyond.

Our commitment to preparing every student for college, career, and life remains steadfast. To achieve this vision, we will continue to work collaboratively with a clear purpose for fulfilling our vision defined by these  4 focus pillars:

  • Our community is our biggest asset.  We respect, value, and retain students and the highest quality staff.

  • World class, innovative pathways and spaces, will be enhanced for all students to explore passions and talents with attention to efficiency and fiscal responsibility.

  • All students will perform on grade level in reading and math by their exit from primary.

  • All students will exemplify and make rigorous progress toward the Profile of a Graduate in a safe, nurturing, and student-centered environment.

I want to take this opportunity to express my profound appreciation for the involvement of our tight-knit community and the critical role you play in the success of our children. Your contributions are instrumental in providing the high quality education that Campbell County students deserve. If you are new to our community or are looking for ways to invest in the future of our children,  we invite you to be part of the journey. Connect with us for information on becoming a reading mentor, volunteer, substitute teacher, supporter of arts, fan of athletics, and more!

I wish everyone a successful, fulfilling, and safe school year. Together, we will continue to shine as a part of Campbell County Schools, making a positive impact on the lives of the students. The future is bright!
