GLE teacher awarded scholarship

Grant's Lick teacher Kristina Sheehy has been awarded the Aspiring Administrator Scholarship from the Northern Kentucky Association of School Administrators. She will accept the scholarship at the NKASA fall dinner on Nov. 17. The award recognizes a teacher who is working toward the goal of becoming an administrator and is meant to recognize the talent and effort of the winners to build confidence and celebrate his or her willingness to stretch.
Kristina was recognized for creating a positive learning community for her first-grade class as well as taking on a leadership role in the school and community. Pictured, Kristina appears on Fox 19's Homework Helper segment the second Tuesday of each month.
