21st Century Community Learning Center

"Club 21" Last Updated: 4/1/2020 3:48 PM

What is the 21st Century Community Learning Center?

This federally funded grant program supports a learning center that provides Cline Elementary students with academic enrichment opportunities during after school hours at no cost to our families. It will also offer students enrichment activities through exposure to diverse recreational, social and cultural activities. In addition, the CLC will offer educational services to the families of participating children.

The 21st Century program will strive to help students develop the skills they need for success in college, career and life.

"CLUB 21"

Club 21 is the nickname of our extended school day program. This program will run Monday through Friday from 3:15 to 6:15 and will be taught by certified teachers and paraeducators. We will begin with a healthy snack and recess followed by required homework help/tutoring. We will incorporate enrichment clubs in the STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math) subjects and physical activity. The center will utilize local resources such as Northern KY University, the Campbell Co. Library, UK Extension and other agencies to provide experiences for our students. Bus transportation will be available (group stops) home from the program for those in need.
