DIME WAR!
Please remember that we are having a “Dime War” between the classes during lunch this week for the March of Dimes. Although it is called a “Dime War” we will accept all coins and bills! All money collected will be donated to the March of Dimes. Right now the seniors are in the lead with $3.46 followed by the staff with $2. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, you need to step it up.

Next week is Career and Technical Student Organization Week which is sponsored by Camel Coding Club, FBLA, FCCLA, and FFA. Everyone is invited to join in the activities. There will be a “Dime War” between classes during lunch. All money collected will be donated to the March of Dimes.

Book & Media Club is hosting a Halloween Party Wednesday, October 30, after school until 5pm. It is $3 to attend and there will be pizza, drinks, a scary movie, costume contest & lots of fun! Open to all students for $3 each.
Congratulations to Girls Cross Country for placing 2nd in Region 5 KHSAA Championships Saturday and qualifying for state. Olivia Holbrook won the race and is regional champion, followed by Emilie Zengel in 4th, Kylie Little in 6th, and Kaitlyn Strange in 12th.
The boys Cross Country team surpassed their ranking at the KHSAA Region 5 championships this weekend and placed 4th, qualifying for state. Noah Slone was 12th and Colin Grothaus was 15th.
The Running Camels will compete this Saturday, November 2nd at the Kentucky Horse Park for the State Championship.

FBLA will be sponsoring a school wide Dress for Success Day on Tuesday, October 1, the day of the Senior Discovery. We will be doing a drawing for prizes for students who are dressed professionally. Two lucky students will receive a FREE Snowball Dance ticket. Seniors can put their name in the drawing before school in the concession area. All other students can enter the drawing in the concession area during their lunch wave.

Banned Books Week
Win a lunch for you and 2 friends on the same lunch wave! Earn chances by:
- Checking out a banned book (see our display).
- Writing a letter to a banned or challenged author, telling them about a favorite title or how their words have impacted you (ask us for a list).
- Reaching out to a favorite banned or challenged author by tagging them and the library (@books4camels) on Twitter and sharing your story using #DearBannedAuthor.
- Complete a banned books coloring sheet for the library to display.

The Campbell County High Athletic Department offers a season pass that is good for admittance to all home athletic events with the exception of any post season contest and the CCHS/Brossart basketball games. The price of a season pass for this year is Adults $60 and Students $30.
Passes will be sold at the following times. Students may purchases passes for adults during these times as well. Cash, check, or credit cards are welcome. Checks should be made out to CCHS ATHLETICS.
